Promoting the alternative use of technology in the Centre Pompidou.
The 2019 edition of DYSTOPIA, organized by Presans, is a gathering around the theme of the convergence between technology and the human being, as seen through the scope of artificial intelligence related technologies, human machine interfaces, and social networks.
Dystopia places itself as a reference event in alternative technology, and invites different participants from industry, education and art to advocate for an informed relationship to technology. Dystopia provides access to expertise regarding concrete technologies, with the aim of addressing ethical, societal as well as philosophical questions they bring.
It was an honor to give an extensive presentation on Generative Adversarial Networks and machine learning with an applicative perspective, in the mythical Centre Pompidou in Paris. It allowed us to strengthen our link to the tech scene with many encounters in the attendance and with other speakers, giving birth to diverse projects.
